A coffee with… event (6.30pm start) with Gaia Montelatici and Nenad Moslavac from Impact Hub, Belgrade (https://belgrade.impacthub.net/) and Petar Savic from Serbian Entrepreneurs, London chapter (https://www.linkedin.com/in/petarsavic/). The panel will be moderated by Stefan Stojadinovic in partnership with Serbian City Club.

Serbian City Club is a not-for-profit apolitical organisation established to promote the interests of Serbian professionals in the UK and in Serbia. Our aim is to provide a networking platform for the professionals in the City of London and those who have returned to Serbia.

The key discussion will be about opportunities and business developments for startups in and from Serbia, their potential and possibilities.

Impact Angel Serbia is a network of locally rooted, internationally connected Angel Investors. Professionals, trans-nationals and serial entrepreneurs from Southeast Europe and Serbia taking startups to international markets in EU, UK and US. Supreme Factory partnered up with Impact Angel Serbia to bridge the gap between the UK and Serbia and help startups scale.

Recently, as a part of the Western Balkans Summit in London, Department for International Trade organised Startup Games and invited over 20 startups from the WB region to come and present their business. Petar Savic from Serbian Entrepreneurs works at DIT as Western Balkans Champion and the main aim of the role is for the UK to develop a long-term partnership with the region’s entrepreneurs by forging a “bridge” between the UK and the Western Balkans based on long term collaboration, not just a short term engagement. Adding value and helping upskill individual entrepreneurs and others in the ecosystem including those at the beginning of their journey who might not be looking internationally but would benefit from any guidance, as well as those who want to understand how to scale up and internationalise.

The event will take place at the Embassy of Serbia, 28 Belgrave Square, Belgravia, London SW1X 8QB.
