Mastering customer on-boarding with founder of Superhuman
Rahul has traveled the email idea maze for nearly a decade. He is a true master of finding and perfecting product-market-fit and a true pioneer or understanding customers and customer on-boarding.

He previously founded Rapportive, a much-loved product that added social profiles to Gmail; it became the first Gmail plugin to scale to millions of users, kickstarted a whole ecosystem of email enhancements, and was ultimately acquired by LinkedIn.

Rahul Vohra is the Founder and CEO of Superhuman, the fastest email experience in the world. Users usually get through their inbox twice as fast — and many see Inbox Zero for the first time in years! To date, they have raised investments Y Combinator, from top investors (e.g. John Collison, Sam Altman) and venture capital companies like Andreessen Horowitz, First Round.

Rahul says that “The product/market fit definitions I had found were vivid and compelling, but they were lagging indicators — by the time investment bankers are staking out your house, you already have product/market fit. Instead, Ellis had found a leading indicator: just ask users “how would you feel if you could no longer use the product?” and pay attention to who answers “very disappointed.”
