Tech Futures London event 2019 - Croatia and SEE meets the UK


Join us on the 29th of March 2019 at TechSpace Shoreditch for the second day of the event that will put the spotlight on the future of digital technologies and up and coming start-ups and start-up scene of Southeast Europe.

During a full day of inspirational panels and discussions on the future of tech-family of innovations (FinTech, RegTech, HealthTech, GovTech) and happenings in the SEE region we will finish the day with an exciting Pitch night for SEE start-ups in front of a crowd of UK based investors.

The event is intended for SEE and British business delegates (managers, board members, project leaders, strategists, start-ups, consultants and others) looking to gain insights on the digital futures and opportunities in SEE, but also European and global markets.

The event is organised by British Croatian Chamber of Commerce, with the support of PricewaterhouseCoopers and UK Department for International Trade, Supreme Factory and in partnership with British Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

  • Formal welcome and introduction by the Ambassador of Republic of Croatia to the United Kingdom

PANEL 1: Let’s talk about techs

Overview of the tech marketplace, current developments and opinion on the future of FinTech, RegTech, GovTech, HealthTech, Data, Blockchain and it’s successors. Foretelling the future and the likely impact of tech on corporate business practices today

PANEL 2: Show me the money!

How to appeal to investors, who are they, what peaks their interest, pitfalls of fundraising, striking it big.

PANEL 3: What’s happening over there in Southeast Europe?

Croatia and SEE – spotlight on the region, up and coming start-ups, investment opportunities, market potentials.

PANEL 4: Brexit, London & Fintech

What sort of life is there after Brexit, should one look at setting up shop in UK and what is there to gain

  • Pitch Night (6.00 pm – 8.00 pm)– Approx. 6 start-ups pitching to UK wealth/fund managers, angels, PE/VC etc
